Valid Funding Code(s)
---------------------------
Code(s) to use for **State Preschool Unit Funding:

Z – State Preschool Special Ed. Unit Funding
U – State Unit Funding (Use ‘Z’ for state funded Spec. Ed. Preschool Units)

**Please note that Regular Supervisors are not State funded.  They are locally funded.
Consequently, they must be coded with any valid code that represents local funding.
State and/or federal codes may not be utilized.

Code(s) that may be used with General Supervisors:
L – Local/State Foundation Funds


Valid Courses***

Preschool Teachers:
D03,  D04,  D05,  D07, D06 AND D08

Gifted Teachers:
G01, G02, G03 and G04

***Please note that course codes are not mandatory for related services personnel.


Approved Units
-------------------

All positions with the exception of regular supervisors must have units approved to 
receive funding.  If you are not receiving funding for an individual and all of your
coding is correct, make sure that there are approved units for that person.  

Note: Cooperative Units
Those individuals who are serving in the role of a cooperative unit should be reported
in EMIS with no extended service as all units with reported extended service will be
distributed among all member districts.

J40403 Report Disapproval Reason Explanation

No Units - No units have been approved for this individual.
Inv Assign - Invalid assignment area for a particular position code.
Max Reache - Number of General Supervisors reported exceeded maximum number allowed.
